| NOTICE! ALL MEMBERS OF THE PCARC ARE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN FIELD DAY 2008. No matter what your skill level, this is the premier event of our club season, and EVERYONE is welcome and urged to attend. You may operate, log, help setup or takedown, cook, ragchew with friends, whatever. There are no penalties to be handed out if we don't "win". While we do have the goal of taking the top in Class 5A once again, it is important to remember that Field Day is for having FUN first. If you are not sure about operating, ASK SOMEONE TO HELP YOU! Once again, you NEED NOT be an experienced DX'er or contester to participate. Also, we will have plenty of control ops available, so Technicians are able and welcome to get on HF and make some contacts, GOTA station and all others included. As we have seen from past results, WE CAN HAVE A GREAT TIME but not without the help of someone very important to the effort - YOU! HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE IN FIELD DAY, YOU ASK? Read on friend... There are three places you can go from here: 1. We need experienced operators to man the 5 transmitters! Sign up to Operate here... 2. We need plenty of gear to make the RF get out.
